Dear Kgpians, This is the cause of a Cancer Patient which needs your attention. Soumyadeep Haldar is a 17 years old boy suffering from Blood Cancer (or Leukemia) and is currently being treated at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. He is nephew of Mr. Biswanath Dikshit who is a contractual staff in the Ranbir and Chitra Gupta School of Infrastructure Design & Management, IIT Kharagpur. Soumyadeep has been studying in 12th standard with Hijli High School. His full treatment will cost more than INR 12 lakhs and his family is having a tough time in raising the money. We request you to kindly help in raising money for the unfortunate boy as he is also a part of extended IIT Kharagpur family and contribute in saving a life. It will be great to reach the students (across all levels, using the communication-platform of Technology Students Gymkhana, IIT Kharagpur), faculty, and non-faculty alike and raise money, as even a small amount will make a big difference to him.
