Dear Lone Star Shih Tzu & Lhasa Apso Rescue Readers, We saw an ad on Craigslist offering a Shih Tzu Free to a good home. We promptly contacted the owner and he decided to let us have the dog. Turns out a neighbor had gotten this dog from someone, then moved and left the dog behind with a neighbor. The neighbor was a young man who lived at home and his family said, No dogs allowed! So he placed the ad for Yedi, hoping to find him a good home. We met that evening and it was perfect timing, because his family told him to take the dog to the shelter the very next day. Yedi is so chilled! He jumped right into the car and lay down, happy to be saved. Turns out he had some other medical issues which were treated and then we discovered that he is heartworm positive.
