Dear Lord, I pray for wives who struggle with bad eating habits. I know how difficult it is to resist the desire for foods that are not healthy. It overwhelms me and when I cave to my cravings I get depressed. Please empower us by your strength to have more self-control. May we choose to live healthy lives for our sake as well as the people who surround us. I pray that our healthy choices would influence others to make healthy choices, especially our husbands. Please give us the motivation to also exercise regularly. You designed our bodies with a perfect plan and entrusted them to us. Thank you for giving us these bodies and thank you for helping us treat them right. I pray that we would honor you by honoring our bodies.
