Dear Lord Jesus, please be with Gerald Butler as he recovers. May his spiritual self be tapped as a source of healing. I dont know the extent of his injuries, but they sound serious. And Lord, You know every hair on his head since the day he was conceived. Please grant him strength to heal to his best ability, one day at a time. Please be with his doctors and therapists, as they encourage daily progress of his return to health. Help him to regain his health and be near him in his recovery. Strengthen Gerald and give him patience with the time it takes to heal and courage when he feels pain or discomfort. May he know your presence beside him as he give thanks for the wonderful gift of life that you have given him. We also ask you to bless and hold all those he loves especially those who may be in the waiting room. May these prayers soothe him and strengthen him in his recovery. I ask all this in the Precious Name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician. Amen, and amen.
