Dear Lord, You promise in your Word that you are near to the broken-hearted and that you bind up their wounds. We ask that you would make your presence known to all that are hurting today. We ask that you would fill each one with your comfort and peace. We ask that you would help each of us to see your light in the darkness. Thank you for being our hope, our shelter and our shield, Lord. For those who are struggling with their faith...perhaps they are angry and dont understand why youve allowed things to happen... we ask that they would know that you understand their anger. Things are not the way you designed in this world. You never intended there to be death, disease and suffering and evil...but you do promise to bring good out of bad for those that love you. Lord, we know your promises are true and that you are faithful. We pray that each hurting person will find the strength to hold on until they see that light at the end of the tunnel. You are as close as a breath away to each of us... we are not alone and you will bind up the wounds of every shattered heart and life... and for everyone that will allow you... you will fill the broken places of each heart with more of yourself. Help us to be patient as we wait on your timing for healing and provision...help us to not rush ahead of you or take things into our own hands...help us to never settle for less than your best for us, Lord. Lord, we pray for every need... physical, spiritual, mental, emotional and financial. We ask for your intervention and provision. We pray for those who cant eat or sleep because of their pain... we ask that you would help them release the tension in their bodies and may they feel a sense of relaxation and calmness engulf them. Please heal as only you can our Great Physician and Healer. For all the weary, we pray they will find rest, support and help so they are enabled to do all that is before them. Please give each of us strength and energy for the day, Lord. For those who feel lonely, rejected or abandoned, we pray you would bring people to come stand beside them and help carry their burdens. May each of us feel your love and we ask for your Holy Spirit to fill us to overflowing with the comfort and peace that is so unlike anything the world has to offer. Please, lead and guide us in the week ahead, Lord. Please, put a hedge of protection around us and those we love. May we focus on you and draw ever closer to you, Lord. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen. Blessings and hugs to you all, Debbie
