Dear Manila taxi drivers 2. Im glad we have these chances to talk. First of all, I do appreciate the fact that you take those line painted on the road as mere suggestions and I am grateful for the extra lane you are thus able to squeeze in. But lets talk about the lanes in the brain instead. Forgive me if I misunderstand, but I thought the purpose of a taxi was to take a passenger from point a to point b, alive. You on the other hand seem to think the purpose is to put a person into one lane of traffic and just plod along, in spite of the fact that BOTH lanes next to you are moving faster. And when that bus cuts us off and thereby opens the other lane, I am glad you took advantage of that space, sped up and jumped right back into our old lane, just so you could cut him off. Meanwhile that other lane is still clear....
