Dear Manipay Hindu and Manipay Ladies College members, Families and well wishers: We the Executive Committee, want to express our sincere thanks for your generous support. We had a great time at our PONGUM POLUTHU event held on June 22, 2013! That wouldn’t have been a huge success at all without your presence. All the programs were high quality & all the participants’ performances were exemplary!! · the Chief Guest speech was very humble, touchy and was able to draw our nostalgic thoughts! · our Association was very proud to have our Special Guest Mr. M. Jeagtheeson who visited here for a short stay from New Zeeland. Many of you may not know that he is an inventor..yes he invented Gyroscopic Variable Transmission; in simple terms, it is a phenomenon to transfer mechanical power without the need of a gearbox. Major application area would be windmill power generation!! Our best wishes to him with all his future successes!! · the annual Magazine was well prepared by our Editorial Committee and have included variety of articles for all walks of life. We enjoyed that evening as much as you did. However, if this Association needs to be sustained and to grow further..our humble request to you all would be to help us build our membership base. This Association requires lot more members than what we presently have. If you like to make positive impact on your alma matter, please engage yourself and bring others with you to the association and take it to the next level We are looking for energetic, ambitious and forward thinking volunteers with new ideas to help us build our association.
