Dear Members, As some of you have probably already figured out, Joey our little rat was in fact born in the wild and was hand reared by Abbs at just a few days old. Due to advice given to us, we unfortunately couldnt make it public knowledge until now that Joey was born in the wild purely for the safe well being of Joey himself. We have since been told that we are able to share with you all Joeys story. He is now able to live here with us for the rest of his days along with Boo and Mouse his 2 girlfriends. I wanted people to know the truth about Joey who was found in the road at just a few days old. He is such a smart little boy and no different than any other pet rat other then being an amazing escape artist. Right from the beginning he was so attached to Abbs and wouldnt leave her side. Even in the garden he would make his way back to her and find his way up to her bedroom where he was hand reared over many sleepless nights. Joey will remain here now and continue to be loved by his family. Thank you all for your understanding and rest assured that any little white lies were told purely for the benefit of little Joeys life. Many thanks, Abbs
