Dear Members, Nominations for the Epiphany 2015 Presidential Election closed on Monday 9th June, at 12.00pm. The Rules Committee received and approved three nominations: 1. Ms. Katie Heard, Hatfield College; proposed by Ms. Harriet Tooze, St Chads College 2. Mr. Louis Richardson, Josephine Butler College; proposed by Ms. Diana Grant-Davie, Collingwood College 3. Re-open nominations; no fixed abode Manifestos for candidates are displayed in all the usual places. Polling is OPEN now and will close at 6.00 p.m. tonight, the 17th of June, 2014. Any Member in residence is eligible to vote in this election. Voting will take place via an online system: (1) Go to members.dus.org.uk/ (2) Enter your email address and password Note- if you have forgotten your password, there is a link to remind you of it. (3) Click elections, select the presidential election and click view (4) Select your preference of candidates. Voting is by the Alternative Vote (AV) so you rank the candidates 1st, 2nd, etc. If for whatever reason you are unable to vote via the online system, please email [email protected] or [email protected] explaining the issue in full. Should the online system fail to work, you will be able to come to the Union Societys office in the Pemberton Building on Palace Green while the polls are open and submit a paper ballot.
