Dear Members. Sirc Chairman & his team is doing really good job. They believe in work and confidence. Thanks to Sirc team to bring innovative ideas to our profession. NAC-SIRC has prepared draft recommendations to the main committee. As you are aware, under the directives from the President, a group was constituted by SIRC to work on the recommendations to be made to the National Advisory Committee (of which our beloved President is the Chairman) for providing inputs to the Expert Committee constituted by MCA for the purpose of reviewing the Cost Accounting Record Rules2014 notified on 30th June 2014. The Committee after detailed deliberations has formulated a few recommendations for consideration by NAC/Expert Committee. President desires a wider participation on this issue of points to be given as in puts to the Expert Committee. Hence, we request you to conduct a meeting of all the Members in and around the jurisdiction of your Chapter on or before 17th August 2014 and give us a feed back regarding their views. To facilitate a focused discussion at the meeting we have enclosed the draft recommendations of the SIRC-NAC. You are requested to provide us with any additional points the members would like to incorporate duly supported with justification/documentation for inclusion of the same. Please find enclosed three questionnaires and a format for consolidating the data obtained from Practitioners. Please make use of the formats to ensure providing inputs from your end positively before 11-00am on Monday, the 18th August 2014. Please note that Committee will not be able to consider any data received after the dead line. The Committee also requests you to obtain letters from Corporate entities regarding their views on the relevance and use of Cost Accounting data for their decision making purpose which can serve as an evidence to the Expert Committee(specimen enclosed).
