Dear Members, We would like to thank all our vigilant members spread across various timezones, for keeping the moderators informed about rule infringements. Thanks to you, we are able to ensure adherence to the rules. If I may highlight a few components of the rules, given a rise in such instances: 1. Plagiarism is a terrible deed. It is the same as stealing. You wouldnt want someone else taking credit for the work you have done, so you wouldnt do it either. 2. Supporting and defending plagiarists is the same as the act of plagiarism itself. It only displays ones indifference to a very important value. 3. A single instance of use of profane language is enough for one to earn a ban. Profanity does not improve ones argument, nor is it cool. 4. This is a large group now, in excess of 45,000 members. There will be a number of posts considered controversial and entertaining. While the occasional comment/banter is okay, an excess of smart alec comments only serves to egg on those courting controversy, and leaves a bigger mess for the moderators to clean up.
