Dear Mike Gillis. I think its time you wave the white towel and admit you have no clue what you ar doing. I know you were a successfull player agent but that does not make you a good hockey savvy GM. You inherited a team that was close to being a serious playoff contender. You have done very little to push it over the top and now as your team is struggling you make moves that weaken them and increase their struggle. Looking through your farm system it doesnt look that great. Your stars are aging and I dont see anything coming up to replace them. Youve traded away young prospects like Hodgson and Schneider who were actually starting to grow into serious NHL talents. You add a coach who has a history of being embarassing and a distraction to his team and true to form he is an embarassing distraction. You thought that making your #1 goalie your captain was a good idea. Then you decided that agreeing to the most insane contract with that goalie was a good idea and then you decided that stripping that goalie of his captaincy and giving it to one of the Sedins was a great fix. There were better options for a leader on that team...Kevin Bieksa comes to mind. Anyway Mike admit defeat and go to onwership and resign at the end of the season. This org needs someone at the helm who can actually grow the team and org....not shrink it
