Dear Mom friends, I would love to hear about your experience with introducing formula to your little one. What did you learn? What worked for you? I know every baby is different so Im just trying to get lots of ideas about what to do next. Here is our situation: We are introducing formula in preperation for me to wean Taylor from breast milk before I travel to Israel in June. Taylor has a sensitive tummy & has battled terrible reflux. She currently takes 15mg of Prevacid 2x/day. (Zantac didnt work for her) She has been fed breast milk only since birth. In the last few weeks weve tried Similac & Enfamil. Doctor recommended to start with just the basic formula. We tried 1/2 formula & 1/2 breast milk at first which made her very sick! But even in tiny quantities (1/4oz. mixed w/ 3oz. breast milk - 1:12) she has gotten sick. So now were looking at trying other types. She is not allergic to milk...as I drink it regularly.
