Dear Mr. E. Lukwago & Mrs. J. Musiisi, This letter is jointly - TopicsExpress

Dear Mr. E. Lukwago & Mrs. J. Musiisi, This letter is jointly addressed to you because for me, I think you are behaving like a couple in a failed marriage which was from day one, a marriage of convinience & not a marriage out of love & mutual respect: After careful analysis of your issues, I have come to realise that you, Mrs Musiisi, are behaving like a wife who wants the family to be run the way you want, the fact that you are developmental notwithstanding. So everytime your husband questions you, you run to your father. The whole village is well aware that your father never wanted Mr. Lukwago as his son in law from day one. So you probably have the advantage of your father passing judgement without hearing his in-laws side of the story. In the same measure, Mr. Lukwago, you are behaving like a man who has failed to create a co-harmonious relationship with your wife & term all her actions as arrogance. I also understand that in your wifes development initiatives, she has hurt your colleagues with whom you take a drink at the bar. For example, if the villagers have been using part of your compound as a village path & she has constructed a fence & that hurts your friends....but I am also aware that your wife treats you so well, she even bought you a 300million car(which you are entitled to) but as a crusader of the common mans social justice I wd have expected you to do what President Nyerere did. He refused the government to construct a road to his house until all roads were constructed!! That probably explains why you always run to the village elders at the bar, who are majory in support of you. I have a proposal for you Mr. Lukwago & Mrs. Musiisi: was it R. Kelly & Beyonce that sang If I were a boy? Beyonce was singing what, hypothetically she wd do as a boy & R. Kelly was telling her she is not a boy & therefore she can never understand!! You guys should use the same approach: Mrs. Musiisi shd write a paper entitled, If I were Lukwago Equally so, Mr. Lukwago writes a paper entitled, If I were Musiisi! The relevant stakeholders then embark on a process of harmonising your concerns. Thank you. Yours truely, a karoli (marabou stork) watching from one of the trees at City Hall.
