Dear Mr Financial Ombudsman Not sure quite where to start - basically I represent a Facebook page of disgruntled, ripped-off customers. The way it works is, I call SGE Loans to see if I can get a short-term cash loan...they take my bank details, they look at the computer, they mention a premium package in passing, and then decline the loan. Three days later there is £99 missing from my account [this time last year it was £84]. Ask what the f*** they are doing and they tell you that you bought a premium package, entitling you to 33% off household insulation [I kid you not]. They promise a refund, which never comes. They warn you that if you try to take it any further, then the refund will be held up indefinitely. Of course we waited, and nothing ever arrived, so we set up the Facebook page https://facebook/BoycottSwitchGasAndElectricAkaSge Amazingly, we not only attracted customers but staff too! Their stories are horrendous, Sally Hill would have been smacked in the mouth for behaving like that with me! Anyway - where do all these people stand? How are these companies allowed to removed money from the accounts of those who obviously [by nature of asking for a loan] dont have the money to spare? I look forward to your reply.
