Dear Mr. Kerry, As a Nature Conservancy member and a World - TopicsExpress

Dear Mr. Kerry, As a Nature Conservancy member and a World Citizen, I must object to the XL Pipeline on the basis of the myriad of negative impacts such a structure would have on Planet Earth. Native Lands, ranchlands, farmlands, and forest lands all protest the imposition of more scars on our landscape--scars from bulldozers, polluted aquifers, oil spills, derricks, and methane flames. Far, far preferred would be gardens of solar panels, sidewalks of solar panels, rooftops of solar panels, and fields of wild wind farms. Right where I live, in new HUD housing, we have solar panels to light up the nights, and a garden of vegetables for the children to harvest. America needs to be at the forefront of progress, to stop throwing money and lives at old techniques, and to wake up to the new objective, the new paradigm. Please, please, Mr. Kerry, err on the side of caution and the laggers will come around to the right view soon enough. You can prevent disaster by acting aright today. Sincerely, one who formerly voted against you, Kathryn Justman This is my plea I sent with my petition to Secretary of State to halt the Keystone XL Pipeline. Grandma Books Blind Faith Journal
