Dear Mr Troughton, I just wanted to thank you for the spectacularly interesting road layout in Coopers Edge. I remember fondly a meeting several years ago in which you told all the residents of Coopers Edge that a fire engine would force its way through the roads of Coopers Edge and that you didnt live here so didnt care. How right you were! The grand plan is working well and you should be proud of the work you did here. Sadly you dont live here so will never get to enjoy the narrow roads and quirky junctions that the residents of Coopers Edge admire on a daily basis. I have enclosed a picture of a scene today in which 3 different bus drivers attempt to negotiate the least direct (but planned) route through the estate. You dont live here but its a triumph. He only waited 15 minutes today and this (as Im sure you realised in your plans) ensures no one is able to speed through the estate! Genius! That will stop people!!!
