Dear NRL, St George, St George-Illawarra, and parramatta, I am trying to get my Dad a copy of the 1977 grand final, he is a huge St George fan and has been his entire life, I followed suit so I am also. It is his 60th birthday on the 12th of June and would love to get him a special present. My parents married in 77 and actually had their honeymoon the weekend of the grand final on Norfolk Island, there was no televised coverage and in order to hear the game my newly wed father had to climb out of a tree to get a small amount of radio reception. To this day he has never seen the match, I would love to give this to him 37 yrs later. Please can you help! It is almost impossible to get footage of this game.
