Dear Nexus 4 Users, Please be attentive before upgrading your Nexus 4 to Android 5.0.1(Lollipop) or else you might get sucked up with the update. Once you upgrade to 5.0.1 your phone will become basic cell phone(in practice unusable) you cannot access anything else apart from SMS/Call, even factory reset doesn’t work here. The only solution in front of you as of now is you need to flash your image by rebooting to either 5.0 or 5.0.1(lollipop). There is no proper response from Google/android team regarding this fix. Due to which most of them lost their necessary data, counting me too. Some are still accessing their phone like a basic model and waiting for the ray of anticipate to get any fix to this bug by android team to ensure their data shouldn’t be lost. Finally with the help of instructions and videos flashed my phone to 5.0 and everything is working correctly. My simple advise to Nexus 4 users is pls don’t be hurry to upgrade before doing some background checks. P.S. Frustrated Nexus 4 User.
