Dear Nichols Cemetery family and friends, It’s FINALLY Spring HALLELUIAH! Just wanted to remind everyone that our Annual Graveyard working is the last Saturday of April (which is April 26th this year). Hopefully, we will have clear skies and cooler weather. My dad (Billy Nichols, Sr.) wanted me to remind you to bring your lawn mowers, weed eaters, chain saws and any other yard cleaning tools you may need. Especially, bring a brush hook if you have one, there are lots of limbs and bushes that need to be cut. There’s lots of work that needs to be done, so come early. Don’t forget your delicious food dishes. (As I always say, I look forward to this part every year – as I am sure you do as well!) Dont forget each of us need to take part in contributing to the funds for the Nichols Cemetery. The funds we give help keep up with the continued operation of our family cemetery. So, please come prepared to do that as well. Last year we collected $495.00 on graveyard work day, let’s try to top that this year!
