Dear Node 1 Internet Customer, Over the past few days you may - TopicsExpress

Dear Node 1 Internet Customer, Over the past few days you may have experienced interruptions in your Internet service. The issue is very atypical of the service we strive to offer to our customers. Sometimes there are issues that are beyond our control. This is the case of the outages that happened on Friday of last week and today in the afternoon. These outages were a result of our fiber upstream provider having troubles on their network. Tomorrow morning our network team at Node 1 will begin contingency planning and implementation that will allow us to bring in another connection to the Internet as a backup to our existing upstream service provider. Our fiber connection has been reliable in the past with over 99.98% reliability and Node 1s network averages over 99.97% reliability. We are continuing to work to upgrade customers and upgrade our network infrastructure this summer. We are in the process of adding additional paths and more backup services and capacity to our network. Node 1 is committed to providing you with the best service in our area and we want your feedback. If you are having any issues with your service please let us know! We want to help you with whatever problems you may be having. Also, as new technology comes available we try to update our customers as quickly as possible. If your needs change in that you need more bandwidth please let us know and we can see how we can improve your service. It is sometimes challenging when we have storms or acts of nature that can cause havoc with power outages and lightning strikes to our equipment. We have staff that are always on call in case an issue like this happens so we can route around the power outages and fix equipment that has been damaged. At Node 1 we never stop learning ways to improve and it is a lot of times through our customers feedback. You may e-mail me directly below with any of your concerns and feedback and I will ensure that we will help you however we can. Thank you. Jake Thatcher, CEO Node 1 Technology, Inc jacob.thatcher@node1technology
