Dear Olympics Committee, Please disregard all applications of Saint-Petersburg in Russia to host summer Olympics... any year. This wonderful city where I was born and where I lived for 27 years was built as an imperial capital, it was never meant to host mass festivities - throughtout its history those were always held somewhere else. Please do not allow it to be FORCED to turn into a place that it was never meant to be just because some people already find it hard to make easy money in Moscow and look for other places to do it, covering themselves with populistic reasons. Hundreds of historic buildings will be demolished, hundreds of acres of land around the city where soldiers of WWII lay will be turned over, thousands of homeless animals will be killed. People of St. Petersburg will lose the city they love... forever. Dear members of the Committee, please let your children and grandchildren to discover the beautiful city that perhaps you visited... and let my little daughter to keep the place where her roots are. It is very important. For us, for you, for everyone that has a sence of beauty.
