Dear Parents - It pains me to have to come to you with this but I will not have this event put into jeopardy. In order to get this event sanctioned by the Board of Education, we had to promise that NO KIDS WOULD BE INVOLVED. So far, I have been confronted by 2 separate posts that just wont quit. I am a volunteer - not a paid employee and my patience are running very low. Please talk to your kids. I am not a bad guy but I understand rules and the rules of this event clearly state no kid involvement on any level. On a different note, even if it was OK by the BOE, offering babysitting is a fine idea but it comes with a HUGE responsibility and its one which I do not care to take on. I know the girls posting are disappointed but I will not go against my better judgement. Having run a day care for many years, I know how quickly fun can turn into tragedy. I am not willing to take this variable on. It sounds great on paper until something goes wrong. I do not want to see another post by anyone under 21 regarding Night at the Races. I will delete all posts going forward. Thanks for understanding.
