Dear Parents, On November 10, Forsyth County Schools will send a link for the Georgia Parent Survey using Campus Messenger to all parents with an active email account in Infinite Campus. This is the survey that is used to calculate the School Climate Star Rating. The link will also be posted on the FCS and CMES websites. The information and link will also be included in the FCS electronic newsletter. This survey will be open until February 27, 2014. The Georgia Parent Survey is modeled after the student survey and contains 24 questions. A Spanish version of the parent survey will be available soon. Parents will be able to complete the survey using their personal computers, smartphones or iPads. All parents should be encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used to calculate the School Climate Star Rating. However, there is no mandatory participation rate for parents. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Data results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. We thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this survey.
