Dear Parents of JBHA Fall Athletes, Welcome to the 2014 - 2015 school year. This year, I am chairing the Sports Booster Club for the Barrack Parent Association. School Fall sports have begun and I am excited to see our students on the field. Links to the sign up Genius for all Fall Sports are below. Please use them to access snack sign up. Parent support of our student athletes is vital to their success. The Sports Booster Club counts on you to provide healthy after-game snacks for all games. PLEASE SIGN UP FOR AWAY GAMES FIRST !!!! Your presence at games truly boosts team spirit and enthusiasm. Participation from veteran parents and those who are new to JBHA is welcome and appreciated. (I was a new parent last year to the Barrack Middle school and was fortunate to attend my son’s baseball games and cheer for all of our students.) This Sign-Up Genius invitation is to ask you to volunteer to bring or send healthy snacks to all games. Please sign up for AWAY games first, they are of course needed the most. Favored healthy snacks are oranges, watermelon slices, pretzels & granola bars . The coaches are trying to go green and are encouraging the players to bring refillable water bottles …their own or feel free to add Sports Drinks to your sign up day. I am sure many athletes would enjoy them if you would like to include them. Please check that all packaged snacks are marked kosher. Snacks may be brought to school or sent to school with your student. If you are attending the game, snacks may be put on the bus when the team is leaving the venue.
