Dear Passengers, Order your copy of the 12inch today, dont miss your chance: metrolandmusic Many have reacted already to the package deal we are offering and thus we believe it is time to focus on each individual item now. Thalys is purely a 12inch vinyl release, so we start with the main item: The vinyl is a 180gr thick 12inch (33rpm) with a printed outer sleeve in the patented Thalys color we all know so well, the burgundy red. In an early stage we toyed with the idea to manufacture a colored vinyl, but no pressing company seemed to have the typical burgundy red in his catalogue. Thalys company was very strict regarding color usage so we soon dropped that idea. Instead we created a 2 side printed inner sleeve, in an official Thalys color as well, holding all credits, logos and lyrics to the tracks. Content wise, the 12inch holds 4 different tracks, 2 on each side. The A side, entitled Platform A, contains the full version of Thalys, clocking little over 11 minutes but split into two parts (without stop). The tracks on the A side are 1. Thalys - Le Départ 2. Thalys - Deuxième étape The B-side entitled Platform B holds an exclusive remix, one you will not get on any download or CD or compilation....it remains exclusive to the 333 only copies. We are talking about the Paul Kendall remix. As was the case in the good old 80s when vinyl and 12inches (and 7inches) ruled the music business, there is a b-side, and this one is entitled From Station to Station (F). The F stands for French, so the version here on the 12inch is different from the G (Germand) and E (English) you will later find on the downloads. As pointed out, the 12inch is thé main item, meaning, all other items (being the MCD and the cassette with postcards) are on top of the pacakge deal and cannot be purchased separatly (we had that question before).
