Dear People, Who knows this man Gregory Eugene Stevens, a.k.a. Superfly Stevens the racing boytjie with a red and black VW. This man contacted my friend Anne after many years of not seeing her, Anne lives with me Cynthia Taylor. Annes story: Anne has Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, she is unable to work and needs to go for chemo treatment every three weeks. Greg visited us a few times and Anne said he is in a pickle and asked if he could move in with us, that he had nowhere to stay. I agreed, and just shortly after that Anne was mowing my lawn when she stepped on the sewer manhole cover, and it broke and she fell six feet down into the sewer. The manhole cover had been stolen by a gardener who lived on my property. He stole all the metal in my yard and sold it, replaced the manhole cover with a plank. A piece of that plank went into her leg, which became infected badly and she spent nearly two month in hospital with treatment to her leg, damage to her teeth which had to be fixed and has damage to her spine which she still has to go to Jhb General to have that fixed. Gregory Eugene Stevens took her to the South Rand Hospital after Anne gave him R400.00 for petrol as we don’t have transport. After being admitted to hospital, Anne asked him to take some things to her at the time, clothing, and her knitting things, a jersey that was almost complete for her daughters birthday, knitting needles that she inherited from her grandmother and mother, the dongle for her laptop, and Im not sure what else was taken. (note from Anne: neither am I certain as to what was taken). Greg was supposed to take all of these things to Anne for which she was going to pay him, but he never did. This was just shortly after she went into hospital. She wanted to finish the jersey for her daughters birthday. Knitting for Anne is not just something to do it’s also occupational therapy, with all she has had to deal with the cancer, and the accident down the sewer, she has been through hell and back with pain and dealing with all that has happened, knitting would have helped her get through all this. But this was denied her as Greg never went back to the hospital and took her stuff. Gregory Eugene Stevens told Anne that her belongings were being held hostage by a Maria Warskaw at 12 Hollyhock Road, Primrose, Germiston. Anne’s daughter went to the address given and was told that for a sum of R200.00 Anne’s belongings were returned to him and that they would probably be at the residence of Beverley Ruth Booysens-Lucas who resides at 21 Gorst Avenue Primrose and is thought to be harbouring Gregory Eugene Stevens. He has come up with many excuses, many far-fetched as to why he was unable to give Anne the stuff she requested. Anne is back home after a horrific ordeal in hospital, still in tremendous pain, and still without the stuff that belongs to her. Cynthia’s Story: I opened my home to Greg, I mentioned to him that I could not get Whatsapp on my tablet. He said give it to me and Ill get it on for you. The last day he was here I asked him where my tablet was and he made vague reference that it was not in the house. Im deaf so understanding is difficult for me, but I understood that he had taken it out of the house, he assured me he would bring it back soon. That was the day he took Anne’s stuff and was supposed to take it to her in hospital. He has not returned to the house, I don’t know where he is now living. He left a lot of his stuff strewn all over Annes bedroom, dirty clothes and papers all over the room it looked like a bomb hit it. He used a towel that he put some sort of grease on to that I cannot remove…Ive tried everything, I found out from Anne that that towel belonged to her, it was not his and Anne’s spare towel was missing. He left his dirty jocks under the bathroom basin. That same grease was all over my bath mat, it took me nearly a week and using everything from vanish to bleach to get some of it off. It shocks me the lack of respect for my home and our property… I have been trying to get Greg to return my tablet and Annes stuff ever since he left, he has come up with as many excuses as he can possibly find. He won’t tell me where the stuff is. He claims he is going to return them but I never get a decent answer from him only vague excuses. He even accused me saying it’s my fault!!!! My fault that he lies and steals!! Now I need to lay a charge of theft against this man. I appeal to people to please give me his whereabouts so I can do so. What we have lost may not mean much to anyone let alone Greg, but for both of us it is a great loss. The needles had great sentimental value apart from the cost of replacing them, which will run in to the thousands of rands. Money that Anne does not have, and part of which she would be passing on to her daughter when she dies. She is no longer able to do any knitting, or replace the fairisle hello kitty sweater that she made for her daughters birthday. Anne did not have a present to give her daughter on her birthday. My tablet was given to me by a dear friend in Australia for my birthday. I do not have the money to replace it and I can’t ask my friend to buy me another one. That tablet was given to me as a back-up to keep in touch with my friends if my computer crashed or anything happened to it. Also to do research for the work I do to earn some extra money to supplement my poor government social pension. He has hurt us both very badly and his attitude is I DONT CARE. (Note from Anne: I do not know if Gregory Eugene Stevens is in fact at 21 Gorst Avenue, Primrose, Germiston, This is information that was given to my daughter when she went to the address given by Gregory to collect my belongings from Maria and Alex Warskaw….I am going to be contacting the police and instigating charges against all concerned until I get justice for myself and Cynthia.)
