Dear Praying Loved Ones, As Rose and I have shared together - TopicsExpress

Dear Praying Loved Ones, As Rose and I have shared together this past week in spite of busy days, God has been sending His encouraging reminders of scripture (such as Is. 61, Mt. 8-9, Ps. 85-86) that He remains faithful to hear our prayers for Tim and to remember His promises to heal and restore Tim. As we pray together we are also reminded that faith comes from God’s Word, and prayer of faith prayed in community in agreement with God’s heart will bear much fruit. From Rose, “Is 61 reminded me of Our God’s faithfulness. He never changes. He is still Sovereign! My request is for the nursing staff to be blessed by our presence at Athikom. That Jesus would be seen and that the Holy Spirit would touch their hearts. That they would love and care for the patients in a “daughterly” way. Tim continues in very good health, consistent weight, good vitals daily. Skin is nearly clear of the last case of scabies. . . Thank God! God is faithful and good.” Lord Jesus, You are Tim’s faithful Provider and Sustainer! You are Tim’s Healer and Redeemer! You are Mighty God who saves Tim by Your strong right hand. But as we join our hearts together with Yours to intercede on behalf of Tim we want to see Your greater eternal purpose in what appears to be delayed answer to our prayers for Tim’s healing and restoration. We ask that You would open the eyes not only of Tim but also of each of the caregiving nurses and staff who work around Tim. We thank You for their growing sensitivity to Tim’s and other patients’ needs. We ask that each interaction between them and Rose especially would reveal Jesus more readily and that Your Holy Spirit would touch their hearts drawing them to faith in Jesus for full salvation. What a glorious victory that would be for Tim’s journey and for them! We ask for Your will, not ours, so that Your kingdom purposes will be fulfilled here as they are in heaven. And we pray this in agreement with Your Word and in faith in Jesus alone, amen.
