Dear President Uhuru Kenyatta, I hope this finds you well, first receive greetings from Mogotio Baringo Rift Valley Kenya. Am writing to you as a youth leader, Herder and chairman of “Nyongi” a respectable age set and also as a letdown young leader. Am disappointed because of your recent actions, you loving the enemy too much. Am aware in politics there are neither permanent friends nor enemies, and also they say keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Mr. President you have kept the enemy too close until they are aware of your intentions. In 2002 the people of Mogotio and Baringo voted for you to the man against all odd. In 2013 they did what my friend Edgar Yatich call exemplary voting, in fact they did it more than your home constituency. Now two years down the line you have embraced the enemy too much. Recently you adopted Otongolo a prudent move to uplift a young man from abject poverty. It was humane and kind of you. As if that’s not enough you extended an olive leaf to our cordeshians to visit you at state house an action they rejected vehemently, You saw it wise to invite Okello the artist then sum it up with Gor Mahia to state house Mr President. Furthermore you went to Migori, only for them to prove to you that they still live below the shoe level by stoning you. Instead of responding to them like you did to our neighbors in Kapedo Pokot, you went ahead and invited them to state house. Also, you have been to kibera severally in fact rumor has it that you have already tasted the madazi by chef RAO. We are aware that you planning to visit Kisumu soon, we wish you all the best. Mr. President, we braved the chilly morning to vote for you, we ensured you went to state house by all means. We wanted to be in government, we have never seen a president in the area for the last 12 years. In fact we ensure that our kids don’t miss the ASK show Nakuru to have a glimpse of their president. Our mothers, who I bet can do better than international choirs have missed singing tunes to their president, due to their love and patriotism. The last time we saw a presidential motor cade in Mogotio was in 2002 December when mzee Moi was coming back from Sacho after voting for you. Mr. President, the motive why we casted to you is because, we have issues. We have challenges; Mogotio-Marigat , Mogotio -Lake Bogoria road is in pathetic state. I wish you used it on your way to Chemolingot. In government positions, none of own has been employed in your government. We have one of the biggest sisal farms in Mogotio, that needs upgrade and refurbishment like the way you did to Sony sugar, for our kids to enjoy this resource, Residents of North Rift are crying because of Maize prices, South Rift are crying too Mr President Tea Because of tea prices. We the citizens of Chepkero village and Mogotio we are considering not voting for you come 2017 so that we can enjoy the privileges as people of Kibera, Migori, Kisumu and Machakos. Mr President with due respect we are not a voting machine!!!. and Since you love those who oppose you more than those who voted for you. Finally i want to cordially invite you to Mogotio Mr President , Come enjoy Mogotio Hospitality, Mogotio Meat, Mogotioans loves you Mr President.
