Dear Psychology majors, We are very excited to announce that Dr. Modianos psychology.cos.ucf.edu/people/modianos-doan/ will be teaching INP4313 Organizational Psychology this Fall! The class will be in CB1 room 122 on Tu & Th from 12-1:20pm. It is a great class for anyone planning to work in a team setting. Below is more information about the course—if you are interested in enrolling the course number is 91628 From the catalog: Analysis of the psychological principles underlying individual and group behavior in an organizational setting. Topics include group dynamics, leadership and participation, intergroup behavior, and organizational development. Elaboration: This is an advanced undergraduate course in Organizational Psychology; although PSY2012 is the only prerequisite, the workload will be consistent with that of a 4000-level course. An interest in learning about how psychological principles can be applied to better understand how people operate at work, and how workplaces can be productively designed for the benefit of both the individuals working in them and the organizations is especially helpful! We will utilize a variety of learning tools including the course text and outside articles, and instructional methods including explanations (i.e., lectures), discussions, class exercises, and team activities. It is not possible to earn an A in this course without excellent attendance and participation! E-mail Dr. Modianos if you have any questions about the course [email protected]
