Dear RTF Students, We would like to personally invite you to join a new collaboration site for creative students recently launched. It’s called Sum (sum.tv) Our mission is to connect students, build up your network and facilitate creative collaboration – all in a familiar social way that allows you to be organized and work with others in a private or public digital space. We believe that a new social media site must have a clear purpose. Our purpose is to allow you the ability to showcase who you are in a powerful way. After all, each of you is a brand. We also want to connect you with other UT students in the RTF Department as well as UT Music, Theater and Graphic Arts Departments. It IS about who you know when you are building a team. Finally, we want a safe, secure place for you to collaborate and stay organized. Email, links, shared folders, tasks, assignments all need a landing page or Collab room as we call it. Thanks to technology, the barriers of content creation and distribution are forever changed there is endless opportunities to put your point of view into the world – whether it’s through film, music, design or story.
