Dear Randall, Sarah Palin berated me for calling out the Koch brothers in their attempt to buy control of the U.S. Senate. Ask yourself -- why are the Koch brothers and their dark money groups taking such an active (and expensive) interest in the Senate this year? They’re investing in electing more allies of their anti-middle class agenda. The Kochs have their network working overtime to elect candidates who want what they want. A tax code that favors the super-rich instead of the middle class. A Medicare system that hands seniors a voucher for insurance instead of their earned benefits. We need to work overtime, too. The deadline to reach our $12,000 FEC goal is just 37 hours away. Can you contribute $5 or more to help us get there? Sarah Palin and the Koch brothers believe in the same thing -- an agenda that could destroy America’s middle class. And they sure don’t like me pointing that out.
