Dear Republicans, You won the election. You now have control of both The House and The Senate. Congratulations. But before you get drunk on your new found power let me remind you that youve had control of Congress before and you completely screwed it up. Were you fiscally responsible? No. Did you pass meaningful tax reform? No. Did you close the tax loopholes allowing mega corporations to pay zero tax? No. Did you do anything about the immigration problem? No. Did you shrink the government? No. It could be different this time. Instead of kowtowing to the far right you could be reasonable you could compromise with Democrats and meet them in the middle. Instead of focusing on social issues where the government has NO business intruding you could cut this bloated government pig down a few sizes. You could pass real legislation that makes a difference -- for once. But make no mistake. Screw it up like you have so famously done in the past and in 2 years we will kick your lazy asses to the curb like yesterdays trash. Sincerely, Moderate Republicans.
