Dear Residents, We would like to inform you all that a cooking fire occurred tonight, which set off our sprinkler system. Due to the activation of the sprinkler system, parts of the building have suffered water damage. Thankfully, no residents were injured during this emergency. We would like to thank all residents at Weeden Lodge during the emergency for your cooperation and prompt reaction to staff instructions. We would like to let you know that the fire department has cleared the building and we are now beginning our clean up. For those residents who were without power, we are pleased to inform you the power has been turned back on. Should you have any power issues please phone the RA. We would also like to inform all residents the lifts will be out of order until next week. For your safety, please only use the stairs. The RA will be contactable at all hours should you require assistance. A full update will be emailed and facebooked next week, to keep you all updated.
