Dear Robin, Is it because you were so hilariously funny that Im so impacted by your passing? Is because you are a magical, gifted, brilliant soul who has given me so much? Is it because I too have suffered from depression? I too have suffered from addiction.... Is it because I can relate to the desperate loneliness that these afflictions come from and cause more of? Is it partly because I sat in the same room as you once, with you as my audience for a change and very vulnerably told my story about those very things? Is it simply me being confronted with parts of myself that I identify with in some small or large way? Is it just me making this about me? Probably..... Either way THANK YOU for the laughs, thank you for the tears.... Thank you for teaching me through example, just a little bit more about myself in the world.
