Dear SCOPHeroes and members of the IFMSA, [Review: Resignation of 2 Team Members, Recommitment of the Team and Call for Additional Members of the SCOPH International (Dream) Team. Deadline 06 April 2014] As we are at the end of the first half of the 2013-2014 Term, we, the SCOPH Dream Team have decided to recommit ourselves to serve our Orange Committee and the Federation as passionately and positively as possible. In regards to that we have some good and some bad news: The Regional Assistant for the Asia-Pacific has resigned from her position in relations to her regular medical workload and the happy news of her upcoming marriage! This is in fact a joyous occasion for our Orange Family though sadly we still need help with dealing with the workload of the Asia-Pacific Region for the Standing Committee on Public Health. After discussing the issue, the Dream Team has decided to send out a Call for a new Team member. The Development Assistant on Trainings has resigned on a mutual agreement. After that the Dream Team discussed the position and decided NOT to send out a Call for a new Team member and instead absorb the functions of the DA into our own positions. The Regional Assistant for Europe has recommitted himself to serving our Committee until the end of the term. He however has been overwhelmed with the workload of the European Region and is therefore requesting help. After discussing the issue with the team, we have decided to send out a Call for a Co-Regional Assistant for Europe. The Regional Assistants for EMR, Africa and the Americas, the Development Assistant on Publications and Marketing, the General Assistant, the Liaison Officer to Public Health and the SCOPH Director have all recommitted themselves to serving the Standing Committee on Public Health until the end of the term (and beyond) to the best of our capabilities while supporting each other, supporting the soon to included additions to the Dream Team and supporting SCOPHians Around the World on our quest to promote health and prevent disease! The Standing Committee on Public Health and the Dream Team are calling for Assistants on the following positions: Regional Assistant for Asia-Pacific Co-Regional Assistant for Europe Please refer to the attached Application Manual for further information!
