Dear Santa, Im Jessie. Im the sweet, energetic 10 year old who loves her tennis balls. My shelter friends tell me they have been putting my picture on facebook and our website in hopes of finding me my forever home for Christmas but I figured I should write you a letter too. Ive been here quiet some time now, since May to be exact. I came here because I wasnt getting along too well with the other dogs in my home, I was a little grumpy towards them. I was only in that home 2 months and I was originally given to that home from someone else. I have been moved around so much that Lakeland is the only place I can even really call home. So, back to my issues...when I met dogs at the shelter I wasnt exactly mean, I actually just tried to ignore them...I wanted nothing to do with them. So for my sake it would probably be best if I were the only animal in a home. And I will be honest, I really do not like cats, once one swats at me, game on! Can ya blame me? Im an older gal, I just want a place to relax and get some love, not be picked on by a cat! I mentioned I love tennis balls but its more than love...Im obsessed. I dont care how old I am, if you let me, I will play for hours. My dog walkers (yes, theyre mine) got me some glow in the dark balls. Its the best thing in the world. I can play with them when its dark out and it is so much fun!!! So now that you know some things about me Santa, basically all I want is a home to toss me the ball, then understand that I just want to relax and lay around to enjoy life. Please, please Santa, let me live out the rest of my life in a home that loves me. I appreciate my temporary home but this is no place for a gal like me. I also need a lifetime supply of tennis balls too please! Love, Jessie
