Dear Skånetrafiken I understand that there can be sgnalfel - TopicsExpress

Dear Skånetrafiken I understand that there can be sgnalfel sometimes on a train line. However this morning at 6.15 while sitting on the train in Kristianstad, it was announced that there was not just a signalfel between Kristianstad and Hässleholm, but also, a växelfel between Lund and Malmö. It was then announced that there were going to be replacement buses. As we begin the wait it is announced over the loudspeaker as well as on the board that the train will leave now at 6:44. OOPS! But we are told by the woman working in customer service (I am avoiding laughing out loud when I use those words) the buses will come at 7.00. By now many people are waiting for the buses and ONE BUS comes at 7.10. We then waited until almost 8.00 for more buses. I was lucky enough to get on the second bus that came then since there is no system set up so that those waiting the longest get on the buses first. It is survival of the fittest and kill or be killed.. There were no seat left on the replacement bus to Hässleholm. A young gentleman offered me his place on the floor. I declined, somehow sitting on the floor at my age where people had been walking with dirty shoes did not seem like a good option on the way to work. There were TWO SKÅNETRAFIKEN/ÖRESUNDTÅG EMPLOYEES sitting directly in front of me. DID ONE OF THEM OFFER ME A SEAT? Of course not, the woman and man, who would have be en working on the train, enjoyed the ride to Hässleholm while I stood. So now, I will be approximately 2 OR 3 HOURS LATE to work. Let me give Skånetrafiken a few suggestion: 1. People need information. Accurate information would be a bonus. As we stood waiting for the buses there was no information at all available. 2. Have someone at the line for the replacement buses organizing the chaos so that those waiting longest get on the buses first. The level of concern for the customers that pay a lot of money for a monthly pass is appalling. Lack of information, trains without functioning toilets, overcrowded trains, just to start with my observations of riding the train between Malmö and Kristianstad for 14 years. The reply that you get from employees whether on the train or in customer service is usually: Jag vet ingenting (Truer words were never spoken) or Det är inte mitt fel. (Who really cares?) I am finally on a train only two hours behind when my train would have left Hässleholm. I do not expect to see an employee from Skånetrafiken coming through the train to check tickets. Typical. When is it going to change? (If you cant read the English, kindly request a translation) Also I think its time to get the wifi working on all the trains, dont you?
