Dear Sweet Friends... My Hubby started tinkering with my laptop and has it working... TY Lord...I have been going thru files and came across this prayer that I found a year or so ago and wanted to share it...it is such a powerful prayer...I do not remember who sent it to me or if I found it on the internet nor do I know who Christina is but I hope this touches your heart as much as it did mine...God Bless Dear Heavenly Father, As Ive read peoples comments and needs throughout the day, I see so many that are overwhelmed with life and grief. Many are distraught because of evil men and corrupt systems. Many are stressed and hanging on by a thread because they are collapsing under the weight of the heavy burdens that they carry.... So, Lord, when we are in these places of stress, fatigue, despair and uncertainty, what we need to do is to put our eyes on you instead of our situation. The best way to do that is to think of who you are and what youve done... so Lord, we look to you now and we lay these cares, hurts, pains and needs at your feet and we ask for the strength to leave them there and to not take them back. You are far better equipped to handle them. You tell us to cast our burdens on you. Lord, we know all the things that you are, but sometimes we need a reminder. I feel like today is one of those days...Lord, as we think of you the Alpha and The Omega, the beginning and the end...we know that you are greater than anything we face. You are the strong and mighty Jehovah. You are our fortress, our deliverer and our rock that gives us stability when the storms rage around us. We may feel like we are sinking and going under, but you will not let us slip away if we stand on your word and your promises. The storms may rage around us, but you can calm the winds and the seas. You long to show us your power Lord...all we must do is be still and wait on you. Help us to keep our gaze locked on you and not anything else Lord... We long to have the faith that allows us to walk on those storm laden seas like Peter did. Lord, you are our shield, our provider the lifter of our heads. The enemy is constantly accusing and throwing darts and seeking ways to make our lives miserable and to get us off track. If he cant make us deny you, then he will try to keep us so distracted with worries and cares and problems that he keeps us from doing the things youve called us to..he keeps us stuck and distracted. Father we ask that you go before us and clear the obstacles. We ask for your divine protection. We ask for deliverance from evil. We ask for courage and renewed strength so that we can be more than conquerors. Lord, you are our Prince of Peace...our comforter, our everything. Let us today, rise up from the ashes like a phoenix and with the wings of eagles...help us to run and not grow weary. Help us to soar above the things that weigh us down. Lord, we ask for you to blow a refreshing wind upon us. Give us a vision that reminds us of what were fighting for and what awaits. Remind us Lord that with you by our side we will not fail. May the brightness of your glory shine upon us today. May we see past the darkness and see a glimpse of your majesty. Spirit of the Living God, we ask for you to fall afresh on us today and meet us where were at. We kneel before Lord, and we give you glory and honor and we thank you for all that you are doing in our lives and the lives of our loved ones we lift to you.
