Dear TeamDIXON Supporters, Thank you. Throughout these past six months, your kindness, dedication and support (financial and time) for our campaign have truly been amazing and a blessing for my family. We deeply appreciate everything you did to get us to both finish lines. Although we didnt cross that last line on 6/24 with the 50+1%, we are still victorious in the many accomplishments that we achieved and the many firsts that we set in Chesterfield County, SC. Yes, so many were aware that James would have been the first African American Sheriff for our county. However, our team made this election about a race of the qualifications - not the color of his skin. Therefore, we are honored and humbled how TeamDIXON came together and focused on our candidates qualifications & platform and helped bridge the gap among so many people throughout the county. Your strength, fortitude, steadfastness and prayers helped to overcome a political election that at times were highly contentious. Your unwavering belief in James, that he would be a great sheriff for Chesterfield County, made it possible to press on even when outside forces were trying with all their power to deter our momentum and hinder our outstanding progress. And your outpouring of prayers and love is beyond measure and more valuable than any tangible possession. For all of this and more we are eternally grateful and humbly honored by everything all of you have done. Thank you again.
