Dear Tree With Horrendously Long And Treacherously Sharp Thorns, For years, you have shredded my skin to ribbons. You have threatened complete exsanguination every time I ventured near. This evening, as I mowed the lawn, you once again tore my flesh despite my effort to remain clear of your painful reach, and finally my threshold was breached. You proved match for my impromptu axe-wielding rage. And tonight, I did not fear asymmetry. Enjoy your slumber alongside the street as you and your fellow storm and construction debris await transportation to your final resting place. I bid you and your thorns a not-so-fond farewell. K
