Dear Tsintzina Society members, friends in Tsintzina, and especially admin of this group, This page was founded much like our beloved society was founded - to celebrate our heritage and keep in touch with one another - and I believe we have done a very good job of doing both. Its always pleasant to reunite with old friends here, to find out whats happening in each others lives, and share photos of those living in or traveling back to Tsintzina itself. We must also be mindful and diligent about each others safety online. We all know the basics of not sharing too much personal information publicly and logging out our accounts from public computers. Recently, however, there have been several requests to join this group from suspicious Facebook accounts. For example, accounts that were created in the past WEEK, or that have no other connection to anyone already in the group, or who have no friend connections AT ALL, but multiple group connections. These are red flags for internet trolls and spammers. Please be cautious if they contact you, request your information, reference this group but are unknown to you, or anyone else you know. We all love Tsintzina and this Society, and many of our mothers and grandmothers are now also on Facebook. For all of our safety, be smart and be safe. Best,
