Dear Universe: It is way, way too hot and dry out there. I nearly melted during my morning run. There are too many mayflies. The sheep need their feet trimmed, and I dont want to do it. I dont like any of the novels I bought to read this summer, even if they DID get fantastic reviews. My editor keeps calling me to ask awkward questions about my new manuscript. My car is still totalled. I dont want to go car shopping. My need to lose five pounds is seriously clashing with my desire to eat cookies. Also, I miss the Walking Dead. Sincerely, Susan.
