Dear Until Love Is =, We are writing to invite you to take part in the Earth Day to May Day Global Climate Convergence, an initiative to bring the whole spectrum of movements for social, economic, and environmental justice together for 10 days of coordinated action and education from Earth Day to May Day 2014. This Convergence is being organized by a diverse national coalition of organizations and individuals who agree that we must act together to solve the pressing economic and ecological crises we face, and that the time to act is now. Our shared message is “People, Planet and Peace Over Profit!” Here in Michigan, we are bringing together a coalition of people from backgrounds in labor, immigrant rights, environmental, peace, women’s, and indigenous rights movements to organize a series of public events from Earth Day to May Day. These events, both educational and action-oriented, are aimed at building a grassroots social movement to work towards the transformational change that our society needs. We would like to invite Until Love Is =, to take part in Michigan’s Convergence. We ask that you consider joining us in the organizing process, endorsing and promoting events, and offering volunteer, financial, and other logistical support to this initiative.
