Dear Woodlawn Families, Hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather! Sure doesn’t feel like August and the start of school, does it? Tomorrow night’s the night—Sneak Peek from 5:00-6:00 p.m. for students to find their classroom, meet their teacher and drop off their supplies! The kindergarten teachers would like me to share with you that for kindergarten, only the following items need to be labeled with your child’s name: Crayons—please mark each individual crayon with their initials Markers—again, please label each marker with your child’s initials Glue, and Scissors Also, tomorrow night we will have sheets available for you to sign up for a 15-minute conference to share about your child during Teacher Chat Nights on August 28 and 29, from 4:00-6:30 p.m. We piloted this idea last year and really enjoyed learning about your child at the beginning of the year! Our aim is to make contact with 100% of our families! Thanks for your help in making this possible! Have a good evening! We will post the class lists on the front and common doors at noon tomorrow.
