Dear Zane, Please keep my identity anonymous... Hello, I am a 35 yr old african-american college graduate... I was married & now divorced!.. My husband wasnt the best husband but, things didnt work out with him having cheating & being unemployed did not work out either!..I have been without a man since 2010 when my husband & I separated..A year later we divorced..Fast forward I have been going natural with my hair & many men start to notice me from africa!..I am an chicagoan but, after my divorce I refuse to talk to anyone from here!... Anyway, one african guy turned out to be all for himself...But, this new guy seems to be alright? He claims he loves me... I am not inlove with anyone that I have ever met... Am I wrong for wanting a man from africa to want to with me & not just to gain citizenship? MY RESPONSE: All kinds of men like women with natural hair. I know that to be a fact. My concern is that you said this new guy claims he is in love with you. How new is he? Also, you clearly are not in love with him so whats the point? I would steer away from men who need citizenship across the board. Just keep your options open and date. And there is no reason why you cannot approach men you find attractive. This is 2014.
