Dear all, I have just been contacted by Congressman Lynch’s office and told that this morning Congressman Lynch and Chris Rusk, as Mayor Walsh’s representative, met with Spectra. Congressman Lynch told Spectra that the current route of the WR Lateral is unacceptable and requested that Spectra propose an alternate route that at the very least will not be near the quarry. The Congressman made it very clear that he and Mayor Walsh cannot support the project in its current location. They have asked Spectra to work on an alternate route and be back in touch the Monday after Thanksgiving. I will be in contact with Congressman Lynch’s office at that time and will keep you apprised. There remains much to be learned and considered, but this is an encouraging and very positive step by Congressman Lynch and Mayor Walsh. I have conveyed our gratitude to the Congressman for taking the lead and spearheading this effort on our behalf. Rickie Harvey
