Dear all, I love todays post from Elizabeth Gilbert which explores two things I feel strongly about and frequently work with my clients on: 1) The ability to distinguish your dream from someone elses dream and to let that be a compass in how you spend your minutes, hours, and days; And 2) the fact that, even when you find your dream and are pursuing it whole-heartedly, there can and *will* be many moments of mundane, hard work, and trade-offs (Greasy hair and tired eyes, for Liz the writer. A different set of trade-offs for someone else who picks a different career.). And so Ill echo Lizs question: What makes you come to life? And, also, Ill ask a second question: Recognizing there will be mundanity, hard work and trade-offs for any dream, any life path choice, which kind of mundanity, hard-work and trade-offs are you most interested in taking on? (hint: this second question can help you narrow in on your dreams if theyre not clear to you already.) Warmly, Annie
