Dear all, Sorry for missing from here for quite a while. I finally returned from Banaras yesterday morning. I need to share three things with you all: a) The experience in Banaras b) The rumor about AAP forming govt in Delhi c) #LS2014 results Lets start with (a) I was in Banaras from 13th April till 17th May. In this one month I got experience of a lifetime. We gave a tough fight but in the end we could not match the combined might of BJP and RSS. More so in a scenario where Congress, SP, BSP, etc had resigned to their fate. So, eventually we lost. (b) We are not going to form government in Delhi with Congress support again. Though it may seem to be the logical thing to do but we can not compromise on the principals. However, we will conduct many public meetings in Delhi soon. (c) We could have done better and we couldnt. But we have not done very badly either. It takes decades for parties to get 1 MP seats, we got 4. Now we need to perform and consolidate. The biggest setback has been that we couldnt become a national party and this is something that will pin me for years to come. Any comments and suggestions are welcome!
