Dear all, There are sketchy reports coming in that at around midnight last night David Passapoortis and his wife were severely assaulted in their home on a farm in Darwendale called Chirawanoo, a game farm with Arab connections. The thugs came through the burglar guards straight into the bedroom and severely assaulted both David and his wife. His wife was threatened with rape. They both sustained broken bones. David has also got multiple fractures to his skull from being hit repeatedly with a knobkerrie and is reportedly in a critical and life threatening condition. The neurosurgeon is going to try to operate this afternoon. After the thugs had tied them up and left, we understand that one of their young girls [Hailey who is 5] managed to untie her mother so that she could phone David’s father Alan, and get help. They have been under severe pressure lately from someone wanting the farm [not sure of name] and were in the process of making moves to get off the farm. Leo Mugabe, the Presidents nephew has a property across the dam next door. David is at St. Anne’s hospital I believe and Mary-Anne is at Avenues. Many thanks, Ben
